Memorial Day Weekend Weather

Memorial Day Weekend Weather

The dry weather is continuing for many parts of the Ozarks, and for many of you I am sure you are ok with that during this holiday weekend. While the dry weather is nice to enjoy outdoor activities, we do need some rain.

Below is a look at how far below averag we are as far as rainfall goes for the year.

Today was very warm, we actually broke tied a record. It wasn't a very old record but we did climb to 90.

Tomorrow will be another warm day with the potential of more record highs. The humidity will be very warm too.

The upcoming memorial weekend will be very warm, again with nearly everyday flirting with those record highs. Monday though will have to be watched as storms may fire up late in the day.

We will be watching late on Monday for the potential for severe storms. The SPC already has an area highlighted for some severe storms in their day 4 outlook as show below. Mainly across the northern portion of our viewing area.

Be sure to check back over the course of the weekend, just in case storms fire up and become severe.  No worries, I will be here. No vacation time for me! haha!

ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY WEEKEND!
