No matter how you felt about some of Wiig's more polarizing characters like Gilly or the Target Lady, there's no denying her impact on the show and how sorely she'll be missed next year. One of the funniest performers to step on the Studio 8H, female or otherwise, Wiig left an indelible mark on the late night institution. If anyone deserved a beautiful, star-studded farewell â€"â€" that also included the likes of special guests Jon Hamm, Steve Martin, Amy Poehler, Chris Kattan, Chris Parnell, and the Foo Fighters â€"â€" it was the one and only Kristen Wiig.Â
